A launch event took place at the Italian Cultural Institute in Edinburgh.

There was an Introduction by Prof. Elaine Shemilt, followed by an discussion with Richard Demarco and Laura Leuzzi.

This discussion gave an insight into Richard Demarco’s artistic life, achievements and the cultural relationships he initiated and developed between Italy and Scotland.

Accompanying  the event was was an exhibition of Richard Demarco’s artworks inspired by Italy, that will run until the 26th June.
